WHERE IS YOUR OFFICE AND WHAT LOCATIONS DO YOU SERVE

One on One Care is located in Stafford Virginia. We employ Home Care Aides throughout the region and service Fairfax, Prince William, Stafford, Fredericksburg, and Spotsylvania counties.

HOW DO I ARRANGE FOR HOME CARE

Simply call One on One Care at 540-288-1300. A care coordinator will discuss your care needs, answer any questions and set up a convenient time for a One on One care expert to do an in-person assessment and appropriate care plan. Service will then be arranged for the hours and days requested.

IS THERE AN HOURLY MINIMUM

Typically, we operate on a six hour minimum per visit, but the number of days or length of service is completely up to you.

WHAT ARE YOUR CAREGIVER TRAINING REQUIREMENT AND WHAT SCREENING DO YOU PROVIDE TO ENSURE QUALITY CARE

One on One Care places caregivers in peoples' homes so we have to be extremely careful of whom we hire. We employ Nurse Aides and Home Health Aides which have successfully completed Virginia State approved Aide Training Programs. Our screening process requires a clean criminal background check, ID verification, 2 professional references, TB test and extensive in-office interviews.

HOW ARE YOUR CAREGIVERS SUPERVISED AND INSURED

One on One Care Aides are full payroll employees. They are, of course, insured, bonded and covered by Worker's Compensation for their protection and your peace of mind. All caregivers are scheduled by our case coordinators who monitor their adherence to One on One Care policies and regulations. Our registered nurses supervise our aides with in-home visits.

HOW WILL I BE BILLED FOR SERVICES

The person who is responsible for payment will be invoiced weekly, with payment due upon receipt. You will only be billed for services received and never asked to pay in advance.

IS THERE A CONTRACT REQUIRED TO BEGIN SERVICE

No contract is needed. The responsible party signs a service agreement which covers scope of services, liability and payment issues but you are under no obligation for any amount of hours or days of service not rendered.

HOW ARE SERVICES COVERED

One on One Care services can be accessed with private pay, long-term care insurance or through Medicaid Personal Care Waivers, for those who are income-eligible.
